PRINS DRIES - 50 Years Gala

In close collaboration with director Linda Baclaine, primary ballet teacher at Prins Dries, Drop The Spoon generously donated time and energy to help create some unique projection backdrops to enhance the wonderful talents of the dancers.

A collaboration, which efforts paid off to earn Klassiek-Centraal awarding the show with the prestigious Golden Label for stage art for 2015-2016.

The ballet training of primary school Prins Dries – unique in Europe – celebrated in 2015 its 50th anniversary. The festivities were concluded with a massive apotheosis, a dance show in which all the students took part. Former students over the years whom became famous in foreign dance companies around the world came back to Antwerp to share their experience and expertise with the young kids.
